Adding paper to the Oce 9300 plotter

If you send a plot to the Oce 9300 plotter and find that it is out of media. Please add a new roll.

If you haven't changed a roll out before, simply look around. Many people know how to do it this and they can walk you through the steps as well.
If no one is available to help please follow the steps below in order. Marks have been place on plotter to help orient users.
  1. Open top front panel at Mark 1. It will open towards you and down.
  2. Release drum by pulling up on tabs under Mark 2 then entire bar will slide down approx. 3".
  3. Pull paper drawer towards you at Mark 3. Carriage will slide towards you.
  4. Back out last of paper roll if neccessary by using the rubber rollers. Remove metal spindle from tube by pressing green lever in one end and reverse this procedure to install in new roll. Top roll is always 36" wide paper and bottom roll is always 30" wide paper. Align green mark at end of spindle with edge of roll.
  5. Place spindle back in cradle, For the 36" top roll should unroll forward from the bottom of roll. The 30" bottom roll is behind a lower front panel and feeds up from the front of the roll.
  6. Use the rubber rollers to feed and align paper to green line at Mark 6.
  7. Push the paper drawer back in the way, the carriage click into place.
  8. Pull up on the entire bar at Mark 2 until drum clicks solidly into place.
  9. Flip front panel back up and into place.
  10. Press the Orange button on the control panel.
